THE SOCIETY 

The EVP & Transcommunication Society, formed in 1996, is the only one of its kind in Britain and Ireland.  Its aim is to distribute and disseminate amongst members, by way of a quarterly newsletter (January, April, July and October), seminars and workshops, where and when appropriate, any and all information about the electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) from each and every source.

Members will be put in touch with each other in their own areas or elsewhere, if they so wish.

Contributions to the newsletters in the form of personal anecdote in connection with the EVP (either by experiment or event), and suggestions as to content, technical information, letters to the Editor and other relevant material, are warmly welcomed.

The Society issues a CD; Voices from Paradise, containing the full background to the phenomenon, real recent examples of EVP communication recorded by the Society's founder, Judith Chisholm, and advice on how to experiment in order to try to make recorded contact with the spirit world.  A standard Cassette History & Spirit Voice Examples is also available from the Society which contains the full background to the phenomenon and real examples of EVP communication received by leading experimenters.

A reading list of books about, or referring to, the EVP is also issued free to members as is a free EP Vista disc Breakthrough, cut in the 1970's, donated by the President of the Society, publisher Colin Smythe, of EVP pioneer Dr. Konstantin Raudive's spirit voices.  As relatively few were initially cut, and fewer still now remain, this is sure to be a valuable collector's item in the future.
